Porsche 964 Top control unit (911 618 313 01)
This unit is a newly manufactured replacement for the original Porsche 964 top control module. It is supplied as a 100% new part and does not require a core exchange. Installation is plug and play.
The design is based on the original control unit but incorporates key improvements developed through years of servicing the factory version.
Design and Construction Notes:
- Uses 99% surface-mounted devices (SMD/SMT) to improve resistance to vibration and thermal cycling.
- Metallized through-holes on the circuit board help prevent cold solder joints and improve electrical reliability.
- Fitted with new relays that handle current and temperature loads more effectively than older designs.
- Internal layout revised to address weaknesses observed in previous factory versions.
